A high-rise residential development project is currently underway in the Kingdom of Morocco, located in Tangier, overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar with views of Spain across the water.

The site is situated along the coast in an area expected to become the new center of the city, with the northern terminus of the TGV line running through Casablanca and Rabat being established nearby. The client requested that as many units as possible have ocean views. The layout plan for the eight high-rise residential towers on the approximately 24,000 sqm site was developed using computer algorithms, starting with optimizing the orientation of the towers to maximize ocean views. As a result, the proposal with all eight towers facing different directions was approved. Seven of the towers consist of a ground floor plus 24 stories, while the eighth has a ground floor plus 18 stories. The ground floor and mezzanine levels will house commercial facilities, and the central area surrounded by the towers will feature landscaping, creating a lively atmosphere. The construction method will follow local standards, using reinforced concrete frames with block masonry for walls. However, for the exterior finish, GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) will be used, with expectations for high-precision construction to establish the development as a new landmark in the area.
